Nick Roberts FCCA ACANick Roberts is our longest serving partner. Nick trained with Pannell Kerr Forster’s London office, specialising in business and corporate advisory services, before leaving to join Hodson Lewis in 1995. His expertise includes dealing with all aspect of groups of companies, raising business finance and all general business tax advice. Nick has spent a number of years advising clients operating in the healthcare industry including acquisitions, disposals, profit improvement and general business and tax advice. Nick lives near Sudbury with his wife Ally, three children, two dogs, and a tortoise called Stewart (after Ipswich Town’s Marcus Stewart, … remember him?) Nick’s interests include cycling, sailing and hurling himself down snowy mountains on skis. He is also a season ticket holder at Ipswich Town FC. |

Maggie Wearing ATTMaggie Wearing is our second partner and joined the firm in 2001. Maggie trained and worked, for a number of years, for a variety of local accountancy practices, and has gained broad experience of solving the problems facing small and medium sized businesses today. Maggie deals with all aspects of personal and business tax and particularly enjoys assisting personal clients with their tax returns. Maggie also has expertise in limited company accounts preparation, company formations, and restructuring groups of companies. Maggie lives in Bury St Edmunds with her husband Paul, their Bedlington Terrier called Lloyd and a budgie called Budge. When she is not walking Lloyd, her interests include holidays in Cornwall, socialising with friends, and shopping. |

Sue CunninghamSue Cunningham is our Office Manager and joined the firm in 2000. Sue runs all our office administration. Sue also provides outsourced bookkeeping and payroll services for a number of our clients. Sue is experienced in all aspects of Sage and Quickbooks accounting software. Sue lives in Bury St Edmunds with her husband Rob. She enjoys visits to the theatre, keeping fit by attending the gym, entertaining, and spending time with her four grandchildren. |

Jess Read MAATJess Read is one of our two Client Managers and joined the firm in 1997. Jess deals with all aspects of accounts production and tax returns. In addition, Jess has expertise in payroll and employment law. Jess lives in Bury St Edmunds with her husband Simon and their cat Ember. Jess loves fast cars (she drives a Mitsubishi Evo!), socialising with family and friends, and DIY. She is the best person in the office for sorting any practical problems, and seems as much at home with a drill as with her computer. |

Toni Hall FMAATToni Hall is our other Client Manager and joined us in 2003. Toni also deals with all aspects of accounts production and tax returns. Toni lives near Sudbury with her husband John and their cat Mogwai. Toni’s interests include all things Italian and likes to travel there as often as she can. Toni and John have been learning Italian, so she’s your girl if you are thinking of opening a ristorante. Toni also enjoys gardening and spends several of her summer weekends keeping her large garden under control.. |

Craig Parker MAATCraig Parker is our Accounts and Tax Senior and joined us in 2007. Craig deals with all aspects of accounts production and tax return completion. Craig lives in Bury St Edmunds with his girlfriend Ree. Having qualified with AAT, he is currently studying for his ACCA qualification, as well as playing semi-professional football for Needham Market FC. He also enjoys socialising with family and friends and golf. Where does he find the time to work? |

Sarah Balchin AATSarah Balchin is our Sage Bookkeeping & Accounts Senior and joined us in 2007. Sarah provides an outsourcing bookkeeping service for one of our larger clients. Sarah also deals with accounts preparation for many of our smaller clients. Sarah lives in Sudbury with her husband Reg, and their two children. Sarah loves history and art, and enjoys dabbling in painting.She is also a keen gardener, and likes spending time with her family and friends. |

Jessica GoodchildJessica Goodchild is our latest recruit and joined us in 2008. Jessica provides an outsourced bookkeeping service for one of our larger clients. Jessica also assists the rest of the team with accounts preparation. Jessica is currently studying for her AAT qualification. In her free time she enjoys socialising with friends, going to live music festivals and is a self confessed shopaholic. |
